We want everyone to have a safe and enjoyable visit. By entering Brighton Palace Pier, you agree to follow these rules and any instructions given by our team.

We reserve the right to refuse entry or ask anyone to leave the pier without refund if these rules are not followed.

Safety and Behaviour

• Please follow all instructions from pier staff, security, and contractors.
• Always behave safely and respectfully towards others.
• We do not tolerate abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or dangerous behaviour.
• Take care when walking around the pier, especially in wet or windy conditions.
• Climbing on, entering restricted areas, or jumping from the pier or any structure is dangerous and strictly prohibited.

Security

• Pier Management and Security personnel may conduct random searches anywhere on the premises.
• CCTV is in operation across the pier for safety and security.
• We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove anyone at any time if needed.

Prohibited Items

To keep everyone safe, the following are not permitted:

• Weapons (including imitation weapons), fireworks, smoke bombs, glass bottles, or items that could be considered dangerous or cause harm to others.
• Illegal or controlled substances.
• Alcohol not purchased on the pier (including sealed containers).
• Scooters, bicycles, skateboards, roller skates/blades, and wheeled footwear (except mobility aids).
• Footballs or ball games.
• Drones and professional filming equipment.
• Dogs or other animals (except assistance dogs).

Prohibited Activities

• Smoking (only in designated areas).
• Vaping inside any buildings.
• Unauthorised commercial activity (including filming, photography, selling, or leafleting).
• Drinking alcohol outside of licensed areas or not purchased on site.

Photography & Filming

• Guests are allowed to take photos and videos for non-commercial use only.
• No filming or photography is allowed on rides or inside amusement arcades.
• Please respect other guests’ privacy and do not film or photograph individuals without permission.
• We reserve the right to ask you to stop filming, delete content, or leave the pier if needed.

From time to time, Brighton Palace Pier or authorised third parties may carry out photography and/or video recording around the pier, which may include guests.

By entering the pier, you acknowledge that such recording may occur and that images or footage may be used in perpetuity in any promotional, advertising or publicity material in any format whatsoever.

All intellectual property rights in such materials belong to Brighton Palace Pier or the relevant authorised party.

If you believe you are featured in any images or footage used by Brighton Palace Pier and would prefer this not to be used, please email marketing@brightonpalacepier.co.uk.

Your Responsibility

• You are responsible for your own belongings at all times.
• The pier is a historic coastal structure, so please take care when walking, especially in wet or winter conditions.

Failure to follow these rules may result in refusal of entry or removal from the pier without refund.

1. Admission Overview

• A standard admission fee of £1 per person is required for entry to Brighton Palace Pier during peak days and times.

• Admission is payable by all guests over the age of 2 years old.

2. Payment and Validity

• Admission is valid for entry on the day of purchase only.

• Admission tickets/wristbands are non-transferable and non-refundable.

• Proof of purchase (receipt or rides wristband) may be required for re-entry on the same day.

3. Access

• The admission fee covers entry to the pier and general facilities.

• Rides, attractions, arcade games, soft play, food, and retail outlets are charged separately.

• Admission does not guarantee availability of specific rides, attractions, or events.

4. Refunds and Exchanges

• Admission fees are non-refundable, even in the event of ride or attraction closures due to weather, maintenance, or operational reasons.

• No partial refunds or credits are offered for early departure or non-use.

5. Conduct and Safety

• Brighton Palace Pier reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any guest who fails to comply with pier rules, safety signage, or staff instructions.

• Guests must behave responsibly at all times. Anti-social, unsafe, or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in ejection from the site.

6. Acceptance of Terms
Payment of the admission fee and entry to Brighton Palace Pier constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

1. Wristband Overview

• Rides wristbands entitle the wearer to unlimited ride access for the day of purchase or collection only, subject to ride availability.

• Wristbands are valid only for the individual they are issued to.

2. Purchase and Use

• Wristbands must be worn securely at all times to be valid.

• Wristbands are non-transferable and non-shareable. They may not be passed to another person.

• Wristbands are void if removed, tampered with, or damaged.

• For adult rides, all riders, including accompanying adults, must have their own wristband for ride access unless otherwise stated.

• With a Kiddies Wristband, an accompanying adult does not need to a wristband or ticket to accompany their child on any children's rides or soft play.

3. Ride Access

• Wristbands grant access to rides and soft play only.

• Ride availability may vary due to maintenance, weather, or operational reasons. No refunds or extensions will be issued for closures.

• Height and passenger restrictions apply on all rides.

4. Refunds and Exchanges

• Wristbands are non-refundable and non-exchangeable once issued.

• No partial refunds or credits are offered for unused rides or early removal of a wristband.

5. Conduct and Safety

• Brighton Palace Pier reserves the right to refuse ride access to any individual not complying with safety rules, or in the case of misconduct.

• Guests must follow all ride operator instructions and safety signage at all times.

6. Acceptance of Terms
Purchase or use of a rides wristband constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

1. Pass Overview

• The Annual Rides Pass entitles the named holder to unlimited ride access on Brighton Palace Pier and free pier admission (when the charge is in place) for 365 days from the date of issue, subject to ride availability and operational conditions.

• The pass is valid for the individual named on the card, and matching the photograph on our internal system.

2. Eligibility and Issuance

• A photo is required at the time of purchase or collection.

• Passes are non-transferable and cannot be shared. Any misuse will result in the pass being confiscated without refund.

3. Pass Use

• The pass must be presented and scanned at the kiosk in exchange for a wristband each day of visit. Wristbands expire after the day of use, so a new one is needed for each visit.

• Only the pass holder may use the pass; ID may be requested to confirm identity.

• Passes are void if defaced, altered, or damaged beyond recognition.

4. Ride Access

• Unlimited ride access applies to eligible rides only and soft play only.

• Ride availability may vary due to planned maintenance, weather, or operational considerations. No refunds or extensions are given for closures.

• Height and passenger restrictions apply and must be observed.

5. Refunds and Cancellations

• Annual Rides Passes are non-refundable and non-transferable once purchased.

• No partial refunds or extensions are offered for non-use, ride closures, or personal circumstances.

6. Conduct and Safety

• Brighton Palace Pier reserves the right to refuse ride access to any individual not complying with safety rules or in the case of misconduct.

• Guests must follow all ride operator instructions and posted safety signage at all times.

7. Acceptance of Terms
Purchase or use of the Annual Rides Pass constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

This offer is valid on 11th and 12th April only and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, promotion or voucher. The offer includes a single-use wristband valid for one person only. Wristbands are non-transferable, must be worn at all times, are void if removed, and cannot be shared. All riders, including accompanying adults, must have their own valid wristband.

No refunds, exchanges or credit will be given for any unused rides. This offer does not include admission to Palace Play Soft Play.

All rides are subject to availability, weather conditions and operational requirements. Height and passenger restrictions apply on all rides.

Brighton Palace Pier reserves the right to amend, withdraw or refuse this offer at any time without prior notice.
