On a night it takes 62,000 light bulbs to illuminate Brighton Palace Pier. We use a selection of energy saving bulbs, neons and low voltage lights.

Brighton Palace Pier is a Grade II* listed building.

The only animals allowed on the pier are registered assistance dogs. Unfortunately, we are not permitted to have any other animals visit us and kindly request all other pets are left at home.

As our site is predominantly made from wood, smoking on Brighton Palace Pier is only permitted in the Horatio's beer garden and the Sunset Garden at Palm Court in the signposted areas where metal plates cover the decking. Smoking (excluding e-cigarettes or vapes) is not permitted anywhere else on the pier. E-cigarettes or vapes are not permitted for use in indoor areas.

We ask all smokers visiting us to use the bins provided and do their bit to protect our sea and coastline. Please do not throw cigarettes into the sea.
