1. Take on Air Race
For thrill-seekers, Air Race is a must-do on any visit to the pier. This unique thrill ride simulates fighter-pilot style manoeuvres including full 360 degree rotations. Brighton Palace Pier is one of the only places in the UK where you can experience this incredible sensation!

2. Enjoy the classic Dodgems
The Dodgems at Brighton Palace Pier are a classic for the whole family to enjoy! Cruise around our track in the middle of the pier and bump, swerve and dodge to your hearts content!
3. Ride the Helter Skelter
One of the most recognisable rides on Brighton Palace Pier, the Helter Skelter never gets old. Grab a mat, climb to the top, and spiral down. Fast, fun, and one of those genuinely joyful moments that reminds you why fairgrounds were invented. On a clear day, you might even be able to see the Isle of Wight from the top!
4. Play in Our Huge Arcades
The arcades at Brighton Palace Pier are a world unto themselves. Whether you’re working a grabber machine with intense focus or testing your timing with the 2p pushers, you could easily spend a happy hour here. A brilliant option on rainy days also!
5. Visit Palace Play
If you’re visiting with younger children, Palace Play is a must. This 4-floor indoor soft play area is ideal for little ones who need to let off steam. With The Dome Café just opposite, parents can enjoy a delightful range of hot drinks and light bites while watching the kids climb, tumble and slide!
6. Eat at Palm Court Restaurant
For a sit-down meal, Palm Court Restaurant is Brighton Palace Pier’s flagship dining option. Classic, crowd-pleasing dishes and our iconic Fish & Chips, in a warm traditional setting with sea views. A lovely option in spring when the light through the windows is beautiful. Booking recommended for groups.
7. Grab a Drink at Horatio's Bar
Horatio’s Bar is one of the great spots on the south coast. Perched at the end of Brighton Palace Pier with a large outdoor terrace overlooking the English Channel, it’s the perfect place for a cold drink on a warm spring afternoon. There's indoor and outdoor screens showing selected sports events such as Premier League football, Wimbledon and selected World Cup games this summer!
8. Grab a Sweet Treat
No visit is complete without something from the kiosks. Candy floss, donuts, rock, ice cream the pier has all the seaside classics. On a spring afternoon, a warm doughnut at the end of the pier is one of life’s simple pleasures.
9. Enjoy FREE Deck Chairs
Have a relaxing afternoon on one of our deck chairs that are free to use anywhere on the pier! Collect yours near the top end of the pier and find a spot in the sun to take it easy. The views back towards the seafront, the i360, and the South Downs on a clear spring day are stunning!
10. Take The Best Photos
Brighton Palace Pier is one of the most photogenic places in the UK. The Victorian ironwork, rides against the sky, reflections in the sea below make for great aesthetically pleasing photos. So bring your phone or camera fully charged and make the most of our location. Spring light is particularly flattering, and the golden hour shots here perform brilliantly.
