I was dangling 130 feet in the air with a very professional camera precariously hung around my neck. After being lifted to the top of The Booster it dawned on me how I’d never been a fan of heights and as I began to hurriedly take photos I couldn’t make out whether it was the cold or my nerves that made every photo blurry. I’m glad I could use the cold as an excuse. I’m also glad that the operators didn’t spin me 360 degrees at a force of 3.6 G’s!
Talking of rides, yesterday I started a question on Facebook of which ride is your favourite and so far The Crazy Mouse is proving to be the most popular (not my favourite, the Helter Skelter!)
In other news… THIS MORNING WAS JUST A FIRE DRILL ON THE PIER.
Despite speculation, the pier only held a routine fire drill this morning but thanks for the concern shown on Twitter!
