Brighton Pier’s been taking over your TV’s this week… Conor Maynard’s pier interview went out on MTV, Pete Firman’s pier magic went out the BBC’s Magicians and I couldn’t help notice a few cheeky shots of the pier on Come Dine with Me (yes… I managed to edge my way into the background for my two seconds of fame in at least two of those programmes!)
Now it looks like we’re organising a few celebs to ride a mile of roller coaster in aid of sport relief (no name dropping just yet). So I’ve put on my stats hat and done the maths… If you wanted to ride a mile on the Crazy Mouse it would take 3.8 rides… If you wanted to ride a mile on the Turbo Coaster it would take 4.4 rides!!! Not difficult to guess which ride the celebs will be using!
In other news Brighton Pier is taking over the world of social media. Now we’re well established on Facebook and Twitter, you can now send video’s to our YOUTUBE channel and photographs to our FLICKR page. WANT TO PLAY A MUSIC GIG ON THE PIER? Let’s link up on MYSPACE.
