So, England may be out of the Rugby World Cup and Blackberry Messaging may be down, but on the plus side, this weekend is promised to be sunshine filled and Facebook’s “Love UK” named Brighton Pier in the top 20 most checked into places in the UK! On top of that feat, I can proudly say that, with approximately 30,000 check in’s, we were the highest ranked pier in the UK so join us for the sunny weekend ahead!
A fair few of those check in’s may have been for Peter James (pictured above) on Saturday when he was true to his word and, after winning the ITV People’s Best Seller Dagger, personally bought fish and chips for all his fans from his favourite fish & chip restaurant- Brighton Pier’s Palm Court. See everything that’s been happening in the past week on our Facebook and Twitter pages and help boom our social media quest!
The pier’s keeping busy with more functions in Palm Court this week and there’s even a SPECIAL OFFER of cod, chips and a glass of bubbly for just £8.50.
Of course, I will once again be organising and hosting Brighton Pier’s first ever Pub Quizzes in Victoria’s Bar on Thursday at 7pm where one team WILL win a day’s worth of FREE RIDES and a FREE MEAL in Palm Court!
The pier’s undefeated Pub Quiz winners “Suzie Q” are returning this Thursday so let’s not turn this into an “Eggheads”-like contest…
