Brighton Pier

Good morning all you kayak cruisers, beach-tanned bodies and ice cream kids…

And prepare yourself for a chocolate fuelled Easter on the pier. Official pier mascot “Pierre the bear” can step aside this weekend as Juice FM and the Easter bunny organise an Easter egg hunt on the pier- DJ Jonesy will also be broadcasting LIVE from the forecourt.

We’ve been busy on the pier prepping for summer and I’ve so much news to tell you that I’ll try and sum it up as quickly as possible…

*Now the sun’s out, the doors to Horatio’s Bar and beer garden are now well and truly open, not forgetting Glitterball Karaoke Bar (new pier opening times can be found here)

*Our new ride THE A-SYMM is up and running- be one of the first to check it out!

*Last week we saw another pier proposal as a plane flew over with the sign “Bex! I love you! Will you marry me?” behind it… You’ll be glad to know she said yes! Congrats Rebecca Feast!

*This summer we will be running an Olympic themed daily event where you can get involved with the games on offer and even earn yourself a medal. Keep posted on our Facebook and Twitter

…And finally I read this week that Brighton is one of England’s top stacation spots- guess what Brighton landmark they used in the caption?!

Don’t forget to watch out for the pier on Channel 4 tonight and no doubt see me lingering in the background again!
